Jin Nuo pointed out in his speech that in his congratulatory letter to the 80th anniversary of Renmin University of China, General Secretary Xi Jinping fully affirmed the school's achievements over the past 80 years by "adhering to the leadership of the Party, adhering to the guiding position of Marxism and serving the Party and the people's cause", and in particular summarized and evaluated Renmin University's achievements in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences in China with the words of "building a unique school". At the same time, it puts forward earnest expectations and clear requirements for the future development of the school. We should put this precious trust and earnest advice into the work of "double-class" construction of schools. I sincerely hope that the school can take this opportunity to accurately grasp the new trends, characteristics and needs of students, disciplines and academics, truly become the "energy" hub of quality content sharing, the "mass creation" space of frontier technology integration, and the spiritual home loved by the majority of Ideological and political theory teachers. Zheng Dengwen put forward three opinions: First, it is the primary political task of current Beijing universities to study, propagate and study Xi Jinping's socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era, which must be further promoted and constantly grasped. Secondly, we should strive to build the resource platform of Ideological and political theory courses in Beijing universities as a powerful engine and innovation highland for learning, researching and publicizing Xi Jinping's socialist thoughts with Chinese characteristics in the new era. We should adhere to the principle of high standard, equal participation and wide radiation. Thirdly, under the guidance of Xi Jinping's socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era, we should carefully cultivate new people of the new era who are responsible for national rejuvenation. We should fully implement the spirit of the National College Ideological and Political Council, comprehensively deepen the reform of Ideological and political education and teaching, and comprehensively promote the innovative development of Ideological and political work.
Chen Xianda said in his speech that the basic theory of Marxism and the original works are both theoretical and political, and play an important role in guiding ideological and political work. It is an important content of Ideological and political course construction to strengthen the research of Marxist theory and enhance the academic content of the course. To build a "high-quality and sophisticated" ideological and political course, we must stand at a higher historical starting point, launch excellent works, combine Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and make a thorough study of issues related to socialism with Chinese characteristics.
Yan Xiaofeng, Dean of the Marxist College of Tianjin University, said that building a socialist modern country with unique endowments, advantages and characteristics would be a great innovation in human history and a major theoretical research topic. The more rigorous, solid, profound and thorough the theoretical research, the more comprehensive and accurate the understanding of the law of socialist modernization, the smoother the process of building a socialist modernization country in an all-round way, and the more assured the realization of the goal.
Sun Xiguo, executive director of the Marxist College of Peking University, said that the generalization of "the most essential feature of socialism is the leadership of the Communist Party" is of great significance for reforming and improving the Party's leadership system and mechanism, reminding every member of the Communist Party to remember their mission and inspiring and thinking about the essence of socialism. This generalization is not only the requirement of our people's democratic dictatorship, but also the embodiment of the nature and purpose of the Communist Party of China.
Xiao Guiqing, deputy dean of the Marxist College of Tsinghua University, said that to strengthen the ideological and political course construction, we should work together from three aspects: the historical dimension, the cultural dimension and the theoretical dimension. To realize ideological and political education, we should have a thorough understanding of the spirit of the Nineteenth National Congress, adhere to integrating theory with practice, and pay attention to the lively and diverse curriculum forms.
Yang Fengcheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Marxist College of Renmin University of China, said that the realization of the "three entries" requires two "three combinations". The first is to combine the theory itself, the historical perspective and the background of the times, and the second is to combine the original text, historical facts and historical materials with the modern media.
Wang Shuyin, Dean of Marxist College of Beijing Normal University, said that ideological and political teachers in Colleges and universities should shoulder the responsibility of instructors and guides for students'healthy growth and train students to be supporters and practitioners of socialism with Chinese characteristics in Xi Jinping's new era.
