On May 5, Qin Xuan, Dean of the Academy of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and Professor of School of Marxism Studies, Renmin University of China, published an article in Frontline, thinking that learning Party history to boost confidence is one of the purposes and requirements of the campaign on the Communist Party of China (CPC) history learning and education. To strengthen faith, belief, confidence and trust is an integral factor of learning the Party’s history to boost confidence. Learning Party's history will help guide Party members and officials to further strengthen faith in Communism and build the ideal of Communism; strengthen belief in socialism with Chinese characteristics and build consensus of the whole society; strengthen confidence in realizing the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and continue to struggle to realize the Chinese Dream; strengthen trust in the people and draw strength and wisdom from the people.
