On August 23, Qin Xuan, Dean of the Academy of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and Professor of School of Marxism Studies, Renmin University of China, published an article in Guangming Daily, considering that "As we put conscious effort into learning from history to create a bright future, we must uphold and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics." is one of the important judgments put forward by Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China at a Ceremony Marking the Centenary of the Communist Party of China. The judgment shows that upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics is both the direction we must always adhere to and the fundamental way to realize the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation. Looking back into history, socialism with Chinese characteristics is the fundamental achievement made by the Party in leading the people in its struggles over the past century; facing the reality, socialism with Chinese characteristics is the fundamental direction of development and progress in contemporary China; looking ahead to the future, we must consistently promote the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
