On October 8, Beijing Research Center of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era published an article in People's Daily, holding that on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the Party has honored its solemn promise of the first centenary goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects as planned. This has laid a more solid foundation and provided stronger confidence in realizing the second centenary goal of building China into a great modern socialist country in all respects, expanded the paths to modernization for developing countries, and made new contributions to humanity's search for ways to modernize. The completion of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects marks the fulfillment of the CPC's solemn promise as scheduled, and a crucial step of the Chinese nation towards the goal of national rejuvenation. It has not only laid a solid foundation for building China into a great modern socialist country in all respects and achieved remarkable results in the coordinatens d implementation of the Four-Pronged Comprehensive Strategy in the process of its realization, but also deepened the CPC's understanding of the laws of building socialism. It also has made new contributioto humanity's search for ways to modernize. To realize the goal of the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is a journey of unremitting efforts over generations. We have left historic achievements and set an important milestone on this great journey. Going forward, under the strong leadership of the CPC and with concerted efforts of people of all ethnic groups, we are bound to make new and greater achievements on this great journey.
